Ulrich Kohl, former Stasi assassin.
Betrayed by his comrades and imprisoned in 1987, Kohl remained in prison until 2011. Believing his wife dead in the event that lead to his imprisonment, he escapes and is out to seek vengeance upon all those who betrayed him.
Extremely skilled in the use of weapons, especially the use of poisons administered via needles, interrogation (also via needles inserted into the pain centers), hand-to-hand combat, and firearms. He specifically uses a Welrod bolt-action pistol, which is extremely quiet and simple to break down and hide.
